Well, if it's over, that's a relief, eh? Back to the joys of
backbiting.
One FFP (who claims 9 years of enforcing the nation's will)
says to be careful, the dismissal of witnesses shouldn't
be misread, and may mean nothing more than that the
prosecution has shifted tactics -- common in trials.
He advises after reading the cejfiles that the case for
obstruction is the looming threat. CJ may be only bait --
a favorite ploy of prosecutors looking for grounds to
charge supporters, or to get at those more elusive.
Which reminds that we haven't heard diddly lately about that
covert investigation and grand jury, nor for that matter, not a hell
of a lot about what has taken place at the trial. Declan's
brief reports are fine as far as they go, but what else has
been happening.
It's worth re-reading Declan's Time reports on CJ to see what
may be in the offing by the prosecutor before the court of
public opinion.
