Yup... There's that.
I suppose I could backpedal a bit and say that there are other shoes to
drop, and that they'll probably end up in the trash like all the rest, but,
for the time being, I'll say that the crisis, in the pre-antibiotic, 19th
century medical sense, is just about over: the patient's still in bed, and
may not be out in the fields for weeks, but the fever of infection is going
down now.
In addition, progress isn't what it is without somebody else coming along
and rattling Uncle Fed's chain again, sooner or later, on this or something
else.
All that said, I'll still stay out here on my limb and say it's over.
