Interesting interpretation. The way I read it was Secretary
Cohen gaining support for the new U.S. plan to introduce a
military state. If the military is responsible for technological
advances and the economy is dependent on the military then we
should all be grateful to the wonderful military and invite the
troops into our homes and our lives with open arms.
Fuck that. The military is supposed to be dependent on the
taxpayers with a very limited scope of authory. This is a
nice PR trick to justify U.S. plans to greatly increase the
size of the U.S. military complex.
