As I recall it was NT 3.5.1 running service pack 3 in a NONNETWORKED
configuration.
Now if you want your govt/military to run a better OS, build some sort of
"company/consortium" to port the DII/COE to Linux.  I tried to get the govt
DII/COE source to start a porting project, but they do not release it to
individuals. (Strange as I was USAF then...oh well)
