Some more bullshit and spin-doctoring from the ones who would like a
defenseless herd. What logics! France is very well armed and no
"schoolyard
massacre" happened in all those years, so why start fearing them now? Any of
thoses social engineers suddenly catching a whiff of civil unrest?
:-)

"France to Examine Gun Control in Other Nations"
03/27/2000
(From Join Together Online)
As a result of rising gun-related crimes, France will begin examining
how other nations address gun control, UPI reported March 21.French
Interior Minister Jean-Pierre Chevenment said he plans to assemble a
special committee to look at the impact of various gun-control laws in
other key nations.
Statistics show that more than 20 percent of French households have at
least one firearm. In addition, half of the estimated 1,000 murders
committed each year in France involve firearms.
"It is only a matter of time before France witnesses an American-style
schoolyard massacre," said Bruno Le Roux, a lawmaker in the National
Assembly who supports stricter gun laws. "It is an issue that has to be
addressed immediately, before it is too late."
