Information and public media are just being effectively used for the
purposes of the elite organizations in power in the US. Also, the
internet is in process of being globally reigned in.

The anonymity and power to spread information it gives to people
is perceived as a serious threat by most established governments.
The "cyber-criminals" are able to get away because of the anonymity.
Most nations are in process of weeding the anonymity out. For example
the ENFOPOL, is being created to monitor e-mail & fax, etc, systems in
Europe for law-enforcement purposes.

All of you who use the Replay anonymizer; Do you really think that you
are anonymous to your local governments? The e-mail is not anonymous
until it reaches the replay.com server. And before that, lord knows
who monitors their lines. I would also bet that there is a specific
higher priority given to monitor and log e-mails going to anonymous
remailers.

Anonymous remailers and public repositories of software would be
the first that I would create, were I in charge of a spook-agecy's
Internet department. And I would also sabotage and terrorize those
that aren't under my control, if not otherwise, then by legal means,
and with publicity terrorize the owners (label them pedophiles in
the eyes of the general public, perhaps)... Anyone still remember
the late anon.penet.fi? Still, I guess using remailers is better
than nothing. At the least you don't have to deal with the spam.
Using several remailers is a little better..

For the knights of the Internet-age: e-mail is our horse, anonymity is
our shield and truth is our sword. Your power is directly proportional
to the number of people you can get to read, understand and believe
the information that you relay, and on their relative inportance in
the system. Produce a story that people will relay ahead on your
behalf to millions, and you can do a lot. Information and
communication are the key to power.

For example, I claim that the UK decision makers are being controlled
very effiently by the US this way. To some extent, their whole
government seems nothing more than a US puppet these days, with no
independent thought or oppinions. Sometimes the US seems to be 100%
in control. The UK could just as well be a US state, IMHO. It's quite
funny actually, when you follow things a bit. Maybe UK should quit
the EU and join the US. :-)

Well, it's not like this is anything new. Things are just more
efficient and perhaps organized these days. This can also be called
advertising, propaganda, lobbying or spamming, among other things.
:-) Everyone is creating and relaying messages that support their
own causes. He who gets his information across most efficiently,
wins.

If you want to influence things, you need to make as much noise as
possible. Don't sit idly and quietly. Internet can be one powerful
weapon for the well versed. Anyone can be a journalist. Shocking
revelations, even if they are disinformation, serve a purpose by
drawing people and readers. It gathers eyes to the facts that it
wants to drive in, and force to the attention of the decision makers.
