RE: NSA records at NSI




I *realize* I'm querying the wrong whois database: that's one of the things that makes this so
*interesting*!  Look what happens when I attempt to register a ".gov" - it is rejected as being
addressed to the wrong maintainer (see attached InterNIC application for "CIA.GOV").  This 
brings us to the next question: how did this record get created *yesterday*?  And why was it
not rejected for (a) being sent to the wrong maintainer, and, (b) failing to declare vital information
such as DNS servers?

This record is *definitely NOT* "appropriate behavior"  ;-)

You're querying the wrong whois database. NSI's whois doesn't store .mil
and .gov addresses.

This is appropriate behavior.
