Unless legislation is passed which makes keeping
this device on your car, and in operational 
condition, mandatory, it's useless.

The end user can disable this Big Brother device
as easily as gluing a piece of tin-foil across 
the sensor(s). More subtle is taking the output 
from the ignition coil, and applying it to the 
leads of the sensors. "I didn't know it was 
broke/It was like that when I got it"
