Yes, you can sniff on a token ring LAN.  You just need a TR card capable
of
promiscuous mode.  Madge sells a good one and I believe IBM and Olicom
also
sell them.

I know you cannot sniff on a Token Ring LAN. Can it TR host been spoofed?

Are there any known security vulnerabilities in a Token Ring LAN?
