Have a look at www.stonesoft.com or www.stonebeat.com  They has a
software solution that requires you to have two firewalls side by
side.  If you purchased Gauntlet on a per node basis instead of a per
server basis, then your only extra cost will be the StoneSoft
licensing fees plus the extra hardware for the second firewall.

Subject: Load Balancing / Gauntlet Question

Hello everyone,

I currently use Gauntlet 5.0 on Solaris.  I am looking for a high
availability load balancing solution.  I am considering the Radware
Fireproof product.  Has anyone tried using routing protocols?  Does
anyone have any opinions on what would be a good mix?  Whether it be
hardware or software?  Thanks in advance for all answers.
