Hi, 

Firewall-1 need a least two modules to work 'Firewall Module' and
'Management module(console)', you dont have choice you need both, you can
install them on the same machine or on one machine for each. You don't need
to buy other soft, but if you need to control bandwith of your internet link
or you want to scan for viruses, you will need an additionals softs .If you
want to confirm or you are not sure of your needs try to call someone else
at Montréal one of the official Checkpoint vendors is Services Maxon.
