RE: [FW1] Pre-shared Secrets (IKE)

Ok, I figured it out...
As a test, I created a workstation object and defined it's encryption as
ISAKMP/Oakley. When I selected pre-shared secret and clicked edit, my
firewall object appeared in the Pre-shared secrets list!
Apparently, only objects with ISAKMP encryption defined will appear in this
list. When I posted orginally, only my firewall object had ISAKMP defined.
Sorry for the bother!
Cheers!

Subject: [FW1] Pre-shared Secrets (IKE)
Hello!
I will be deploying a VPN-1 RemoteLink that will serve several branches
connected by Cisco 1720s using IKE. Initially, I would like to use
pre-shared secrets between the peers and shift to a CA managed approach
as
the number of peers increases.
When I look at the encryption tab for my firewall object, I check
ISAKMP/Oakley and then edit. I then check pre-shared secret for the
authentication method and click the edit secrets button.
How do I populate the Shared Secrets List? I cannot find anything in
the AA
Guide or VPN Guide. Is there a file that I have to edit?
Any help would be appreciated! Cheers!
