Re: [FW1] Has anyone come across this one?
We had that problem too. We get around it by deleting the logptrs file whenever
we want to view old logs. The logptr file gets rebuilt when you open a log.
Checkpoint could never determine how we got this problem, but it basically is a
corrupt index file (logptrs file).

Subject: [FW1] Has anyone come across this one?
Using AT, I am doing logswitch on the first of every month. I have never had a
problem viewing old log files, but yesterday, I started getting the following
message:
lvfile_open: Failed to open logfile e:\fw\log\fw.log log ptrs problem
BTW: I have no problem with active file. Could this have to do with Daylight
Savings time?
