Hello :
I have 3 questions.

1) i have not got a response from anyone having Websense URL filtering working
with FW version 4 service pack 1 or 2. if you have, please do let me know,
i ahve spent time trying to figure this out with no help from websense or
checkpoint.
websense recommends running their product on a different box and fw
talking to it for every outing URL. according to them this gives better
performance, this seems to be disputable or impossible with FW-1 version 4 on
solaris!

2) I would like to know if folks test FW products/changes on test box before
applying to
production. if i have desktop with multiple interface card, if one interface
is
connected to real internal network and other intercaces are configure with IP
of the real
firewall and I configure and run the FW on this box, can this create a
problem.
my default route will be to private network.

What other methods are there, apart from isolated box to create test
environment.
not having a test environment in migrating to version 4 to test websense and
fw 4
on solaris really took apart alot of time.

3)
I have seen this error on Solaris version of FW 4/service pack 1.
You may need some encryption license from checkpoint.

Subject: [FW1] Unlimited license error

I have upgraded my Checkpoint Firewall-1 from 3.0 to 4.0 (NT version) with
unlimited license. However, I still got a message in my NT event viewer: "No
license for unlimited encryption". Anybody have idea on it?
