I concur with this, i started my upgrade to FW checkpoint from
Sun, and diligently filled out checkpoints FW license forms, getting
certificates then registering my support id's then i found my Sun
support wouldb't be of any use since checkpoint will not answer/handle
any critical install questions. i had to call there licensing center
supervisor to extract the license. Also, you reseller can only
give you SP2 strong DES! i believe that checkpoints needs to a more
friendly company to its customers!
Does anyone use checkpoint Web support?

good luck....our experience is that you have to wait an absolute age to get
a license from Checkpoint for v4.
Either that or our service provider is confused as to the method we should
employ to actually get one.
Anyone got any advice on how to go about getting a licence to upgrade from
v3 to v4 ?
I went to www.checkpoint.com and filled out the necessary form in the
license center and when I changed the 3.0 box so it said 4.0 I got the
message that this wasnt allowed on the existing license (surprise surprise)
and that it would be dealt with manually 24-72 hours my first request was
aproximately 1 week ago so I dont know.
Thanx for any help you can give me on this.
