[FW1] User authentification

We are currently using Session authentification (with the pop-up agent) on
FW1 3.x using the method describe at
http://www.phoneboy.com/fw1/faq/0100.html.

We have done some testing with FW1 4.x and find out that session
authentification would be extremely slow.  We are looking to switch to user
authentification using the http interface and switching to a Radius server
instead of a local user database in the FW.

The problem is that now, the NT user password will go in clear across the
network.  Would it be possible to use HTTPS (or something else) so at least
we would have a secure session between the user and the Firewall?
