[FW1] Fw3.0b 3083 and eSafe troubles...sigh...
Hi All,
I have Solaris 2.5.1 Fw3.0b (3083) and CVP AV eSafe ESPG v2.0 (build
93) running on NT 4.0 (sp3).
For reasons unknown, I am getting a file truncation problem when FTPing
large files...again. Files > 10MB get truncated. It just stops
downloading. No errors. Not much to go on.
Moreover, I also get "Failed to connect to Content Security Server" in
WWW browsing if I have it scrub malicious java/activeX with an HTTP
resource rule.
On the eSafe monitor, I can see it go dead (communication graph goes
flat). Then, after about 20 seconds it starts up again. It's fine for
about 1 to a 1/2 an hour, then WWW access "breaks" again.
I had this trouble before with 3072, but I forgot to edit
$FWDIR/conf/fwopsec.conf and upgraded ESGP from build 92 (bad) to build
93. Once I fixed that, all was swell. Now I am at 3083 and things
aren't so great.
Problem is, I have been running 3083 for about 3 weeks, then all this
started happening.
Anyone else have this problem? Could it be some delayed problem with
3083? Sounds ridiculous, but I am at my wits end!
I even rebuilt my NT server from scratch that eSafe is running on.
hhhhhaaaaaa -- help!
