We have been told by our supplier not to run FW1 on NT4SP4

Instead they are just applying the Y2k fixes to NT and running NT4SP3, with y2k
fixes.

The reason they gave is that Checkpoint have not certified their product to run
on SP4.

So maybe this is one of the reasons??

Just my 2 cents.

     Hi,

I'm getting exactly the same problem which has only surfaced in the
last few months. We however, are not running Version 4 of FW1. We are
running V3.1 Patch 3064 on NT4SP4 so it looks as though the problem is
not version specific. The only way to resolve the issue is to reboot
the box whic is not very satisfactory.

     Any suggestions would be appreciated

     Regards

     Kevin Carty

Hi,

I have a strange problem. I'm running FW1-V4SP2 on NT4SP4 and every few days I
get several Dr. watson massages concerning the FW module, then I get some
connection and routing problems. I really like to know if anyone is familiar
with this kind of problem.
Thanks allot

Lior.
