[FW1] Norton Antivirus Live Update connections

I'm trying to implement a rule to allow Norton Antivirus Live Update through
the firewall (FW1 v4.0 on an NT4 SP4 box). I've created a domain network
object:  .symantec.com and inserted a rule:

any	.symantec.com	any	accept	long

This rule isn't working... although the DNS server is configured on the
TCP/IP properties of the firewall.

I understand that the domain network objects are slow and ineffective. If
someone knows of a better way of allowing live update connections please let
me know.
