We set up Disk Suite to mirror the main disk and defined the second disk as
the
secondary boot disk.  This is based on the idea that the loss of one disk will
now not be a catastrophe, and also on the principle that any disaster we have
prepared for is automagically less likely to happen.  The implementation was
straight-forward standard Disk Suite - defining identical partitions and doing
the extra steps to mirror root.
