[FW1] ahttpd.log, CPU rises to 100%
We 're running FW-1 version 4.0 (VPN+DES) with SP5 on NT 4.0 SP 4. When a
user wants to connect to one of our web-servers, they have to authenticate
(radius). We want the connection to be secure, so they connect through
HTTPS.Therefore we use a HTTP-security server on our firewall. The rules
looks like:
src. dest. service action install on
firewall auth-server radius accept src
users web-server http user-auth firewall
A user connects through the url https://firewall:80/securityserver. This
works fine. The user must authenticate en the data is transferred encrypted.
The problem is that when a user directly wants to connect to the webserver
(with the url http://web-server. This has no use but it can be a mistake) the
cpu rises to 100% en the file ahttpd.log grows unlimited. Stopping en
starting is at that moment the only option. Has anyone a solution?
Thanks.
Johan
