Re: [FW1] Ipx solution

Novell's Border Manager has some firewall capabilities for IPX.

Another option is to connect them to a second NIC on the Novell
server, and turn off IPX forwarding. They'll have access to that
     server, but no others.

Set up ipx access list on a cisco router, with no ip routing.

     Good luck,
     Pete

The problem

There is a requirement to firewall a number of third parties from a network.
Some of this connectivity is still using IPX.(i no I can only firewall the
IP)

The IPX will be obsoleted over time but I need to do the firewalling now.
Not all the thirdparties will be using IPX.

The question is whether there is any other method of doing this other than
routing ipx on NT and the firewall running on NT.If there are no other
choices is this desirable. This is not an internet connection.

What are my options?

Thankyou in advance.
