I am wanting to log only the number of bytes coming in on the internet
interface, but it seems that all data to & fro an interface is bundled into
one record when any form of logging has been set on. For example, if I
initiate a call to the internet, all bytes will be recorded against my name
as me being the source & the internet as the destination. There is no
destinction between the bytes xmitted in different directions.
Can you help ? Would it be unwise to get another utility just to do this
operation ?
