[FW1] OSPF and Multicast questions

Hi all.  I have a requirement to try and secure get OSPF and it's
associated multicast thru a firewall, and I'm looking for direction on how
to do that.

Where can I find more information (ie, quick description) of multicast,
and which networks must be used?

Judging by the reject messages in my logs, I see that 224.0.0.5 is used,
as is 224.0.0.6, and several services on those networks.  Can you explain
to me what services are used?

When I needed to get BGP thru the firewall, there was a simple rule that I
could create to do this, but that does not seem to be the case with OSPF.
