SUNPRC runs on port 111. It is a Sun remote procedure call. If this is
coming from the outside, someone is most likely trying to see if you have a
SUN machine and exploit some known bugs with sunrpc in unpatched SUN
systems.

Does any one know what is SUNRPC mean?
I encountered this problem when the FW log recorded that there was a sunrpc
service was rejected by Firewall. The FW log viewer also doesn't state which
tcp port is being used by sunrpc service.
How to allow my Firewall to accept sunrpc service?
Any suggestion is much appreciate.
