RE: [FW1] General query




Many thanks for your response.

I take what you say on board and am reading through the link you very kindly
gave me. However, could you please tell me how the Operating System knows to
route packets to the correct interface?

I know a bit about routing already but what confuses me is the fact that I
have not constructed a static routing table or specified a default gateway
address. How does it know to forward packets not destined for the DMZ to the
internet interface?
