[FW1] Address Ranges & Address Redirection
Dear All,
I've got a couple of questions for you.....
Our web servers are grouped together in a range of IP addresses (actual)
which take the form...111.111.111.20 to 111.111.111.29 inclusive.
Currently we define objects for each one and then add them to a group
called TANDF-WEB.
I spotted the address range object which allows me to define a range of
addresses for an object.
I've set this up using the start address and end addresses as defined
above, however I don't seem to be able to add these to any rules...when I
click add even when the object list is set to display all, my address range
object doesn't appear I've tried setting it to show only address ranges but
the box is blank when I do this....am I barking up the wrong tree or
something ?
Secondly we have an internal cc mail server that on occasion has smtp
messages sent to it, however for one reason and another (Virus and Content
checking reasons) we don't allow messages inbound or outbound to the
Internet from it they should all come via our Virus checking / content
checking mail server in this local location.
The question is, is it possible to redirect a valid IP address from
firewall one to another..is this a static address translation issue (I'm
not overly familiar with address translation), any help gratefully received.
Thanx in advance
