hi james,
have a closer look to the properties windows. on this window you can allow
ICMP (tab Security Policy - default "before last"). Now if ICMP or any of
those other services on this TAB is allowd through this tab, no
connection will be logged. The better way is to disable those services on
this tab and insert a special rule for the service. Now you can insert
logging and you will see the connection in the future.
