Yes, Get an encryption license for each Firewall-1 and
follow the instructions in the manual for setting up a VPN-1
to VPN-1 connection. There are many explicit instructions in
the manual depending on the type of encryption one uses.
I must admit that I get annoyed by these very basic
questions that make it appear that someone hasn't taken the
time to do even a bit of reading.
Did you talk to your sales rep?
Did you visit http://www.checkpoint.com?
Did you check out http://www.phoneboy.com?
Maybe I've just had a bad day...

Subject: [FW1] Remote office connection
I think I have seen this question asked several different
ways, but I'll ask
it my way just to make sure.
I have my main office and a remote office. Both are setup
behind a
Checkpoint Firewall ver 4.0 on Solaris x86 boxes. Is there
an easy way to
connect those 2 firewalls together so each subnet can
communicate.
If not, is there a way to use Securemote, just one way, to
communicate
between to 2 networks? Both are using NAT and non-routable
IP's.
Thanks in Advance
Kevin Davis
