Re: [FW1] SMTP server configuration
All you need to do is set up a rule similar to this:
InsideNet --> Any SMTP Accept
Depending on your current configuration, you may just be able to add the SMTP
service to one of your current outbound "accept" rules. No resource is required
for outbound.

Subject: [FW1] SMTP server configuration
Hi,
I'm not sure of my configuration of SMTP on the FW...
I have a ressource configured as SMTP. It is used for inbound mails
(defined on the external interface of fw) and the mail server specified
in it is our internal mail server.
Do I need to define another SMTP ressource for outbound mail ? If so,
what should I specify as a mail server (depends on each mail's
destination ?) ?
Can FW's SMTP server take care of outgoing mails (appears so in fw's
doc) ?
TIA,
Karim AMRANI
