RE: [FW1] SMTP server configuration
Yes you can use smtp security server for outbound mails
you have to create another resource
You can used it four oudbound mails (defined on the internal interface of
fw) and specified your relai on the dmz for example
if you don't have one, specifie the external dns, maybe the ip of your
provider if you have one,
this doesn't depend on each mail's destination, because the smtp security
server has only one MX record,
you must specifie one server

Hi,
I'm not sure of my configuration of SMTP on the FW...
I have a ressource configured as SMTP. It is used for inbound mails
(defined on the external interface of fw) and the mail server specified
in it is our internal mail server.
Do I need to define another SMTP ressource for outbound mail ? If so,
what should I specify as a mail server (depends on each mail's
destination ?) ?
Can FW's SMTP server take care of outgoing mails (appears so in fw's
doc) ?
TIA,
Karim AMRANI
