RE: [FW1] What is the difference between 4053 and 4066?

One good method is to read the release notes. Another is to browse this
list for mention of the SPs you are interested in, to find the
"undocumented" _features_ of the particular SPs.

If you have a software subscription w/Checkpoint, you can get registered
with their downloads folks who will set you up with a login ID and password.
>From there, you can go to the downloads section and dig down to the product
and version you are looking for. Most of the release notes can be found
there.

The release notes cover a lot of topics, typically which files are affected,
what bugs are fixed, special caveats for different OSes, Known problems and
Installation instructions.

If you don't have access at that level, then you should get with the vendor
that resold the software to you and have them keep you up to date.

Hope this is helpful

Subject: [FW1] What is the difference between 4053 and 4066?

Hello all,

I'm new in this list. Sorry if this question is very simple.

I learned that FireWall-1 4.x build 4066 (SP4) is a newest build.
How can I learn the differences between this build and the old ones?

Thank you in advance.
