RE: [FW1] SecuRemote firewall password
it can be done, but i won't recommend it for security reasons as
mentioned.
The securemote client is loaded on windows startup in the startup group.
You can manually edit this shortcut and (hope i remembered it right
because i don't have it documented) add the following parameters :
/u=[username] /p=[password]
As i said, it was something like this but i don't remember exactly, but
i pointed you in the right direction i hope.
then you have to reboot and the client will be reloaded
now, if you want to connect you don't have to manually enter the
password.
grts
Erik

Is this something you really want to do as it would defeat the object of
securing your network in the first place.... if the laptop were stolen,
another
disgruntled employee got hold of the laptop, etc.....

Subject: [FW1] SecuRemote firewall password
I have a remote client attempting to completely automate the logon
process
using Secure Remote version 4.x on Win 9x. We are running Firewall-1
Version 4.x on our AIX server . The userid can be saved but they also
need
to pass the password without manual intervention. Has anyone
encountered
this issue?
