You are talking about Checkpoint's SP5, not Microsoft's SP5, correct?
For what it's worth, I'm running SP6 (the old one with the
admin/winsock bug...uhm...feature) with a plain vanilla Checkpoint
VPN-1 (no Checkpoint SP's) without any problems. For production
machines, I would stick with SP5 until SP7 is out, which will correct
all the bugs introduced by SP6a.
