[FW1] Integration with customized applications

Hi,

Our company is planning to use firewall-1. We have a product which
provided secuirty for internet users, by providing user authentication
and access control at the resource server side. We want to enhance this
product by introducing a firewall

I have gone through the firewall features of Checkpoint. And looks like
we can intergrate it with our product. I have some queries regarding
this
1) We are storing the authentication and access control information in
the ORACLE database.
Can we use OPSEC  APIs to get the information from ORACLE database and
store it in the FIREWALL rulebase? What I mean is how can I integrate
the firewall rulebase with the Oracle databse. Do I need to develop a
seperate application for this?
2) Suppose we use Netscape LDAP server for storing the authentication
/access control information.
The GUI specified in the documention, does it support Netscape LDAP
server? Or do we need to manage it seperately. Are the authentication
templates mentioned  customizable?

Any help in this regard will be appreciated
