[FW1] Newbie needs help
Guys,
I have rules that permits all traffic from
anakin (192.168.60.1) to go into gui-on (192.168.60.2, NT)
and vice-versa.
Anakin is the fw-1 server that runs on Solaris.
For practice, I used my NT client to fiddle around with the
Security Policy and Log viewer utilities. I clicked on the action icon on
the log screen and changed my active telnet session from my Win NT client on Anakin from
permit to deny. I wanted to see how the pop-ups would look like if I
triggered a violation. Now I can't log into Anakin from my NT Client tools.
I went back to the console of the Solaris (Anakin) box to see if I can
change the action icons from deny to permit using the Log Viewer tool.
Clicking on the action icons in the Solaris version of this tool does not
provide me with the other options like accept, auth, etc. like the NT
client has. I checked my rules on the Rule Base Editor from my console
and they have not changed at all. I need to permit all traffic back in
again. How can I fix this?
Thanks!
