mounted. You can't write to what has not been mounted.
The bootup script read by init process (/sbin/rcS) has
been corrupted. This is a known problem when installing
FW-1 ver 4.0 with the default filter. Check out Phoneboy's
most excellent docs at www.phoneboy.com/fw1.
He details how to fix this. Basically you boot into
single user, fix the corrupted script, then reboot.
