Actually 4.1 has been available since October.  Checkpoint marketing is
frantically trying to catch up with the technical people, but from what I
understand the code is complete, Checkpoint have CD's cut with 4.1 (I had my
grubby hands on one last night - unfortunately it was Checkpoint Australia's
only copy).

Basically the official line from Checkpoint is - don't upgrade to 4.1 unless
you really have to.  The licensing is far more complex now (and we all know
why), so I can guarantee that if you push for the upgrade you're going to
have license headaches.  Wait for an official word from Checkpoint and maybe
then they will have the license upgrade process smoothed out.

I have it on good authority that the 4.1 version that is out right now is
still a pre-release version and that the true release of the production
ready code is due Q1 of next year.
