[FW1] HTTP problems through VPN
Hi all,
I've run into a little problem with a VPN i'm working on (IPSec/tunnel,
Checkpoint version 4.0, Solaris 2.6). We seem to be able to establish a
connection to the web server from a given client and we can complete an FTP
transaction and even log into it's management utility setup on an
alternative port (6666).
The server is an:
Oracle_Web_Listener/4.0.7.1.0Enterprise Edition
Which, I am told by the server admin, generates it .html dynamically.
Here is the deal.
The firewall on the server side seems to be sending the entire page and all
it's code through the VPN on the other side.
The firewall on the client side seems to be breaking up some of the code,
but it does seem to get all of the code.
The Browser actually does get the background of the .html page loaded but
seems to hang when when loading the web pages login dialog.
I have requested a print out of the "source" as seen by the browser both
through the VPN (un-successfull attempt), and another from a direct
connection which should work, so that I may compare the "source" info on
both sides.
Has anyone been through this or have any suggestions?
Thanks!
Bryan
