[FW1] Having to re-authenticate at every Web Page

Hello everyone, hopefully this is an easy one.

I am using client authentication.  I use either telnet or http method to
manual logon to firewall.  When I use my browser I can only go to one site
and then if I pick a new site I am not authenticated any longer.  If I log
back into the firewall, I can reload the new page but any different site
causes the same problem.

I noticed this when I was testing user authentication and so I am trying
client authentication (I don't want to have to install the session agent on
the computers).

What is the recommended setup to have users login to the firewall once with
their browsers and then continue to use the browsers without
reauthenticating?  If I specify the firewall as a proxy in the browser I get
no response.  Thanks in advance.
