Yes this is an unlimited version.  Checkpoint is planning on releasing
version 4.1 sometime in the near future and I have been told that the
license strings will be different.  So, when 4.1 is released they will cut
permanent keys for everyone that has 4.0 and a current software
subscription.  I have also been told that if you decide that you don't want
to go to 4.1 they will then issue a permanent key for 4.0.  Why they don't
just do that now, I don't know.

 I added the firewall 4.0 licence to a nokia box with fw putlic and had no
problem. But
 although it is an unlimited version it says in expiration date: 31Dec2000
 
 I wonder if this now is really an unlimited version
 
 Any Ideas?
