[FW1] Upgrade from 3.0b -> 4.0 on solaris

Hello,

I'm still running fw-1 3.0b with sp8, have the 4.0 software, and am
holding off installing it until I can get some feedback on how painful
a move this is.  The firewalls I need to upgrade are running solaris
x86 2.5.1, have loads of disk and memory, and are performing fine (T1
speeds and below).. I just would like to use some features that 4.0
has.  

Has anyone blown a gasket on this upgrade?  Is it painless?  Any
gotchas?  I'd ask our VAR but they seem to think that writing and
selling web blocking software is more important than supporting
existing customers.  (hint hint, VARs looking for business, feel free
to drop me a line, we're quite unhappy with the folks we have ...)
