fw-1 does rudimentary anti-spamming. check out the faq's at:
http://www.phoneboy.com/fw1 for info. on setting up the fw-1 smtp server.

for folks running unix as i do...
i prefer to use another smtp proxy, smtpd. for more info see:
http://www.obtuse.com/smtpd.html
smtpd runs in chroot jail & has very sophisticated anti-spamming
features.
i use sendmail, http://www.sendmail.org for actual mail delivery
out of smtpd.
