[FW1] FireWall-1 FTP performance problems

No - no CVP servers are involved

When network traffic is light, my FTP data thruput is instantly cut in half
as soon as I do a fwstart. During peak hours, my FTP thruput is cut by 90%.
I have just one "accept all" rule defined. Even at peak periods, my
Connections Table has only about 7,000 entried. I am baffled, and thus far
no help from Checkpoint.
