Re: [FW1] SecuRemote server capacity

We found that a Sparc20 @ 50 MHz is not even interested in a 28.8 kpbs
DES encrypted modem connection. Fine here.

A flooding test showed us a max of ~2.1 MBit/s DES encrypted traffic
(one single connection). The Sun box was the bottleneck. The client PC
     was at a 30 % CPU load (133 Pentium).

     Regards,
     Oliver

I can't find anything from Checkpoint on this, so here goes.

Does anyone know what kind of load that a large amount of SecuRemote
users will put on the FW server? I'll be implementing a nationwide VPN
soon for approximately 350+ users. My current system is NT 4.0, dual
Pentium II 400, with 256 RAM.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
