[FW1] SMTP Security Server

We are having problems trying to send email to an exchange server which is going
through a FW1 smtp security server. We are also using FW1, but no security
server, and only SMTP is allowed back to our notes server.

A simple test for us is if we hop onto our router on the internet and telnet to
the remote smtp server on port 25 we get a response from the FW1 smtp security
server. But as soon as we are within our FW1 server and try and telnet to the
remote smtp server on port 25 we get a connect failed after a while.

I have opened up all access to the machine we are telnetting from inside, but
still no joy.

What else can I do to see if it is our side or the remote side?
