[FW1] smtp security server

I had an intersting question from a customer today.  We are using smtp
security server to rewrite his outgoing mails to hide his exchange servers,
but what about addresses on "cc" line?  On other proxy firewalls that use
sendmail based daemons simply look for any instances of the addresses to be
re-written, but what about FW-1?  Has anyone heard anything similar?
