Craig's intro (below) inspired us dump our own load down.

Re. us: We hail from StRatford, Ontario, CaNaDa, paid our dues at the U of 
Waterloo and have since done some 13 years in the InfoSyst slave trade in 
Canada, HongKong and, for the last 4+ years, in HoChiMinh (formerly 
"SaiGon"), VietNam.

Some eons ago, we forgot all our ascii codes and calculus (in favour of 
lingering in our various syndromes -- ADs, RSs, Carpel Tunnels,...). IS 
management and consulting thus became our most appropriate career choice. 
We now pretend to be an iJourno, iResearcher and an IS consultant (PM, PR & 
Marketing), organizing, interpreting and promoting what we can of the 
code-slave trade for layfolk.

Consequently, our reason for being, here: basically, to pick whatever bits 
of your collective brains you'll be so kind to deposit round these parts -- 
wrt IDS, of course, but also about IS security subsystems in general.

We're trying to build *another* emerging market here. As usual, it's 
EduTainment first.
