Yes, its true, I have 6 awesome children.
For the last decade, I spent my energy focusing on Intrusion Detection. These days, I am focusing on breaking software. I have contributed to several books, published many papers, presented at a ton of conferences (Blackhat, Defcon, Cansecwest, ShmooCon, Hacker Halted, Linux Expo, etc), and worked on a number of open source projects (Snort, Metasploit, OpenBSD, CPAN, Wireshark, etc).
I am the member of The Shmoo Group, sk3wl of r00t, DDTek, and an alumni of The Honeynet Project.
Everything is pedantic and academic, until you get owned.
